About Lanzarote...

Lanzarote is the northern and easternmost island of the Canary archipelago and its diversity of landscapes gives it its special charm. The island was declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 1993. In Lanzarote, we can find the gaiety and liveliness of the tourist areas, with their excellent hotel installations and recreational facilities, close to unspoilt sceneries and solitary islets, where one may enjoy the silence and tranquility. The Timanfaya National Park, a succession of beautiful volcanic landscapes, has become one of the greatest tourist attractions of the island, together with the Centres of Art, Culture and Tourism created by the local artist Cesar Manrique. The original cultivation systems used by the local field workers, who have learned how to overcome the island’s sterility and turn the lava fields into wine yards is another focus of attraction for visitors. The benignity of the climate should not be overlooked, an annual average temperature of 22º C makes Lanzarote an ideal location for the practice of all kinds of outdoor activities.
